We take the food hygiene very seriously, and as such have strict food safety procedures.

Jennings Of Caversham comes under the duristriction of Reading Borough Council for matters concerning food safety. We are proud to have established a good working relationship with our regulatory authority.

Re: Genetically Modified Foods

In view of current media interest in the use of genetically modified foods and the subsequent change in legislation, L. D. Jennings Ltd has taken a decision to make it a requirement that all its suppliers do not supply any goods that contain genetically modified ingredients.

We have sought written assurance from our nominated suppliers to this effect and have recorded the results in our quality assurance system.

We would be happy to discuss this matter further if necessary.
